This session will focus on CSTP 2: Creating and Maintaining Effective Environments for Student Learning. You will learn about:

• Creating a welcoming environment
• Routines & procedures
• Organizing your classroom
• Initial Contact with Parents

This session focuses on how teachers can respond to student behavior using a tiered MTSS approach. Participants will explore practical strategies to support positive behavior, respond to disruption, and de-escalate intense situations in the moment. Emphasis will be placed on aligning responses to student needs across tiers while maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment.
