About me
Hi! My name is Maisha Burke, and I teach at Mary Bird State Preschool. This is my 6th year as a preschool teacher, and I bring over 14 years of experience as a paraprofessional, making it 20 years total in education. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, watching various sports, and coaching middle school activities; I also love a good game of bingo! I’m especially passionate about anything related to Black lives, culture, and empowerment.
